WHY PUBLICATION ABOUT ARTIST MOTHERS?
At Art Mums United, we believe that sharing our stories and wisdom is crucial to helping other artist mothers strengthen their creative practices, face challenges, and overcome feelings of isolation. Through this publication, we aim to elevate the voices of artist mothers, as they've often been neglected in the art world. We want the artist mothers to be seen and heard, inspire each other and join forces in normalizing the professional aspects of being a working parent in the art world.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
We want to bring visibility to a wide range of experience and are open to all types of artists (visual, performing) with interesting experiences to share.

Share your experiences of being a working artist and parent. What types of support systems served you well or didn't. Where you create and how it affects your practice. How rituals, structure play into artist life and work. What role multiple income streams play.
WHAT WILL YOU HAVE TO PREPARE?
The selection of artists will be made on careful review of the overview you provide in the submission form. Once selected you'll be sent interview questions for the publication feature. Your responses will be edited but should be clearly expressed.
